Can’t resist feeding shots! Great catch on that robin, I especially like how the red fruit catches the eye and draws it exactly to the action. The owl and harrier are also welcome guests every time, one of the birds we have in common and two of my favourite sightings!
Beautiful pics. Robins are a welcome sight at this time of year. Make us feel like spring, The more the merrier! They're out there stripping the crab apples and berries from last fall.
Julia, thank you very much! Yes, it should be passable at this time since it hasn't snowed in a while. I went a week ago to see the owls hunting (and had no luck unfortunately), but it was fairly easy walking (winter boots required).
Beautiful pictures Silas! I’ve never been to the Liberty Loop trail but am thinking of checking it out. Is it passable this time of year with the snow?
Thanks! It's always fun to be taking photos and KNOW they will turn out well. Was the case with the robin.

Beautiful photos :-)
Thank you, Angie!
Yes they sure are! We've been enjoying them too!

Thank you Mario. Yes, spring is coming soon I hope!
Always appreciated, I like Robins too. We are still in deep Winter here in Elka Park. Spring is about to burst, keep shooting.
Yes, their beauty is often overlooked because they are so common.
I never thought of robins as particularly beautiful birds, but those two photos are really great; the sumac really complements the bird.
